Facade Cladding at Kvartal 38A

Our series on completed Russian facades continues with the large Kvartal 38A residential complex.

The development stands in south-west Moscow near the intersection of Obrucheva Street and Leninsky Prospekt. Several business-class buildings use natural beige Jura Limestone as an exterior material.

Workshop No. 11 of Mosproekt designed the complex under Boris Mesburg, with Pyotr Provotorov as lead project architect.

Our company participated in the second construction phase.

The brief was to reinforce the pronounced movement of the facade and give the buildings individual expression and three-dimensional depth.

In response to the buildings' height and Moscow's climate, we proposed a broad palette of beige Jura selections suitable for exterior use.

Sandblasted Jura Cream and Jura Noce C320 were ultimately chosen to achieve the strongest contrast.

We supplied more than 23,000 m² of Jura stone for the exterior facades of two buildings.
