This is the third interior project in our series. It returns to Kvartal 38A, where we previously described the supply of Jura Limestone for the facades of two buildings.
The design also specified Jura stone for the entrance lobbies of every building. As a business-class residential development, these public interiors had to match the standard of the architecture as a whole.
Three Jura finishes—honed, polished and rock-face—were selected to retain a connection with the exterior material while preserving the contrast and movement of the facade composition.
🔍Honed slabs form the floors, polished stone clads the walls, and selected wall zones use a rock-face finish.
The combination gives the interior appropriate dignity and quality while retaining clear lines and a coherent colour palette.
🔍The emblem of Kvartal 38A on Obrucheva Street was also engraved into a Jura Limestone slab.
🔍Stone used in the entrance areas:
Jura Cream, polished
Jura Cream, split-face
Total stone area: 1,000 m²
