Residential Complex Granatny House 6
About the project
We present to your attention another club house by maestro Sergei Tchoban, the residential complex "Granatny House 6". The complex was realized from 2004 to 2010 and is an extraordinary architectural project in an exclusive location of the embassy quarter of our capital. The facade of the building is made of natural Jurassic stone, and what additionally emphasizes the prestige of the residential complex is the implementation of carved ornamentation over the vast majority of the facade area. Currently, this architectural detail is very rare and would most likely be realized from concrete or other imitation. These ornaments were chosen by the project author in nine varieties from the Byzantine era. On another building of the residential complex, the ornaments were made in the Russian style of the pre-Mongol era. Jurassic marbleized limestone has been preserved on the building facade for many years and ages together with the building.
