Jewish Religious and Cultural Center in Zhukovka

Jura Beige honed, split face,Steinziegel

About the project

We present to your attention the project of the American architectural bureau Gensler Architects - a Jewish religious and cultural center in Zhukovka. The facade architecture is made in a mixed style using natural Jura marble as well as high-quality plaster cladding. The Jura stone is presented in a rather rare combination. Classic honed slabs with pilasters made of honed beige Jura marble are combined with Jura stone in a "splitface" finish. Also, the entrance group has a front facade made using the technique of offset stone brick elements with a rock surface of natural cleavage. This technique, made of Jura limestone, is very rare and most likely applied in the Russian Federation for the first time.
