Kalina Mall, Vladivostok

Kalina Mall stands on the southern shore of Golden Horn Bay. The complex has a total area of 102,000 m², including 48,000 m² of retail space. The shopping promenades use 2 cm thick Jura-marble flooring, and the columns are clad in the same family of stone to maintain a coherent architectural language. Different colours, rectangular and square formats and mosaic patterns define functional zones; some slabs reach 1 m². Massive column elements combine two stone varieties with the flooring. About 15,000 m² of five Jura-stone varieties was laid and installed, creating an individual and refined public interior for one of the Far East’s most ambitious retail projects.
