Barkli Virgin House
About the project
Barkli Virgin House is a completed project by the AMV architectural studio and received an Urban Award in 2011. The private residence stands at 8, 1st Zachatievsky Lane. Its facade uses several varieties of natural Jura Limestone with honed surfaces and broad rustication. The direction of the stone and the zoning of different facade areas emphasise its movement, including beneath the horizontal vaults. The overall composition communicates the restrained dignity of a premium private residence.
