Barkli Plaza Mixed-Use Complex

Barkli Plaza is a mixed-use complex on Prechistenskaya Embankment by Sergey Skuratov Architects. Developed between 2003 and 2008, it is among the earliest modern premium buildings on Moscow's Golden Mile. The facade uses a rare stone: beige Jura Limestone cut along pronounced linear veins, recalling classic travertine while retaining excellent performance. The frost resistance of this Jura selection exceeds 150 cycles, allowing long-term use as external cladding for residential and public buildings in climatic zone II B under GOST 9480-2024. The movement of the architecture and the direction of the vein-cut stone express the exclusive character of both the building and its Golden Mile setting.
