Balchug Residence, 29 Sadovnicheskaya Street, Moscow

Balchug Residence is a premium development less than one kilometre from the Kremlin, at 29 Sadovnicheskaya Street in Moscow's Zamoskvorechye district. It was developed by Inteko, which subsequently became part of Sminex. The private urban quarter comprises five buildings with high-end apartments. Light Jura Cream White with a sandblasted finish was selected for the facades. The sculptural treatment of the Jura Limestone, the arrangement of the buildings and the carefully composed window openings distinguish this architect-designed quarter within historic Zamoskvorechye.
